Light and clear. A comforting scent for summer. Otherwise nothing special, just very refreshing.

A sweet, fresh, floral aquatic in the same family of fragrances as Acqua di Gio. This smells a tad bit synthetic to my nose however, and I feel this is inferior to AdG and Versace pour Homme.

It's a nice, refreshing and somewhat aquatic fragrance. But my god, it lasts no longer than a butterfly's breath.

First review, and here is the story. It is a cool summer day in a park. There is a crisp stream nearby, and some type of sport being played, if I am not mistaken it is volleyball. The person wearing this is in their late 20's, probably just graduated college. He is also in a relationship, and this girl actually bought him this scent. They are happy and it seems that a good man would wear this, it is a smell that brings content, but not a smell that brings content... but it was there and this lies on top of it. Overall a good smell.

I've tried Pure, Dunhill Man, Fresh, Desire, Desire Blue..I believe that's all.. most of them made me nauseous in one way or another. Dunhill Pure is the only cologne from the Dunhill House that I would actually buy (out of the ones I've owned or tried). I'd probably get a smaller bottle though.

Pure is a very very floral fragrance. When you first put this on you get huge bursts of florals and some lemon, the sillage is mediocre and remains this way for about an hour before it dies down, the top notes last about 30 mins which is pretty good IMO. Once it begins to dry down the lemon top note seems to be obsolete and it becomes all floral notes, maybe some sort of greens or leaves in there as well. In the end it's still very floral but a bit more woodsy. I'm actually smelling my arm now after having it on me for a couple hours and I'm getting some great cedar out of it.

Pure is an appropriate name for this one, because there's nothing synthetic about it.
During its dry down, it actually reminds me a little bit like Green Irish Tweed. This is a very appealing and delicate scent for men. Not recommended for everyday use but I'd add a small bottle to my collection if you don't mind floral more delicate scents. This is not in anyway even remotely like a woman's fragrance. Longevity is about 4-6 hours. If you like BLV or Green Irish Tweed you'll probably enjoy this. The only difference is that Pure has a more woodsy smell in the end, but you can only really smell the woods if you're nose is right up to your skin. This one is pretty unique and very nice when on a date or close to a woman.

A rather simple, bright aquatic. Nice but somewhat unsophisticated. Definitely a casual scent.
