I don't understand why a venerable house like Dunhill would try to water down their reputation by releasing this piece of crap. It smells like fabric softener or laundry detergent. This is a boring, linear, highly synthetic-smelling oriental with no redeeming qualities. The only reason I'm guessing this is an oriental is that it's sweet and loud. I really cannot describe what this smells like with any more precision because it is so dull and non-descript. Bounce sheets in a bottle.

    This is a terrible fragrance.

If you want to smell soapy or like fresh laundry then this is for you. A completely unerotic and unexciting smell.

Pursuit is a bit of a strange one. Up close it smells cheap and synthetic, but when it floats into the air, it's another story. I get like a spicy/floral/slightly soapy thing going on, with lots of nutmeg throughout. None of the notes really stand out to me besides the nutmeg which isn't even listed in the pyramid. Rather, all the notes share the same 10% of the fragrance or whatever the percentage would be. I also get like peanut accord throughout.. maybe it's just the nutmeg. Overall though, it's just so/so; if it didn't have the cheap sour floral thing happening in the background (the same thing I got with Vera Wang and 100 others), I would like it a lot more.

    Other notes:
    It does smell very clean.
I also get a slight barbershop vibe from it.

Synthetic soup that offends my nostrils. The best thing I can say about this fragrance is the bottle, what a beautiful bottle and the compass in the screwtop is a nice touch, but the juice, forget it, linear, synthetic, just boring to no end, just another Dunhill disaster.

Been wearing this one during the day, and get many compliments from both men and women. I really like the aftershave vibe, and that's something that helps with this fragrance. It's a little orangy and spicy - but clean. It's not something to over use though. I have luck with about 5 sprays (wrists, neck) total and it lasts for about 5 hours. If you are not into after shave or barber type scents, it's probably not for you. I can wear it to work, fishing or a bar and it's pretty versatile.

My immediate impression was of a ligher version of Aramis Havana or Cuba Red, with a more medicinal dry down. A spicy mess, I thought I detected tobacco and cloves. Like it, don't love it.
