Azzaro pure lavender is one of the unique scent fragrance. I don’t like lavender fragrance scent, but this one has the right amount that just good enough. It has a sweet floral opening and warm heart notes. The dry down is amazing with a vanilla creamy powdery smell. I love to smell my jacket the day after I ware this. I remember I was in collage when I ware this one in 2001. I always buy the big bottle 125 ml. I remember I bought it three times. I really love this fragrance, especially in autumn.

Why did they stop this deep sexy clean aroma. Azzaro Pure Lavender is now impossible to find ... it was my signature daily scent... loved it for its beautiful refreshing aroma.

This is one of those fragrances that you know belongs on you when you wear it, It is a comfort to wear, as it is friendly, reassuring and very alluring. The lavander is not over-powering, just enough to smell clean and natural. The anise is just a hint to reassure you that it is there. From the bottle you can get a whiff over the vanilla, on dry-down you have a lavender, vanilla powder, and ambergris scent. Initially, there is a lot of sillage, but it is not long lasting; half a day. Great 'going-out' EDT for men. It is masculine, but not macho; sensitive, but not milquetoasty. It is not a 'sophisticated' scent, but it is also not a 'cheap drugstore' bottle of chemically smelling cologne. Certainly, a Parisian made fragrance. I recommend it, particularly for the price.

I found all three of the "Pure" fragrances remaindered at Marshall's, and this one is the most satisfactory. Generally, I don't like vanilla, but the dry down is fairly sophisticated. It reminds me of Jill Sauders for men. It is powdery and sweet, but with an edge. A nice winter fragrance? But the top notes are pure Avon, very strong and no blend at all. But I find myself really liking it after it has settled down.

Since I remember myself I'm addicted to LAVANDER. I remember that always after bathing me my Granma splashing generously from my head (?) down and from a big green bottle with a cork/metal top "Lavanda de Ach. Brito" - a fresh/cozy lavander straight cologne made in OPorto - North Portugal. And it feel soooooo good. And nice, and clean and home... Gone, can't find it anymore.
So, please forgive those of you not in love with Lavander, but I think this reimpretation is fantastic (unfortunately for years not sold in Portugal/? and I have to go Spain nearby to have it). I like it from begining to end - fisrt fresh/intriguing and then goes ending down warm and longlasting, very rafinè, exquis. Naturaly, 2 tumbs up - the more I had the more I would put up;-)
