Handcrafted from glass by world renowned Fornace Mian from the Venetian island of Murano, this precious bottle is lavishly adorned with gold and gems by the experienced craftsmen of the Bvlgari high jewelery atelier in Rome, L'OPERA GRANDIOSA is a sumptuous display of Italian expertise and a celebration of the highest quality. Paying tribute to Venice's heritage and glassmaking tradition, Bvlgari embarks on a new journey with L'OPERA GRANDIOSA.

It all starts with one exhale: Fornace Mian masters blow into a long tube to create a glass bubble, thus launching a complex game of balance between fire, the artist's vision and the inner nature of raw materials. The adventure in the universe of colors kicks off with the sbruffo technique: a master blows out several layers of glass, working on different shades, levels of transparency and density. To create Bvlgari's jewelery masterpieces, gemstones are cut, shaped and polished until they achieve their purest essence and most expressive shine.

Likewise, the master glassmaker achieves unique results by adding layers of color: with skillful techniques, he recreates deep, vibrant and rich nuances and transitions reminiscent of Bvlgari jewelery. The bottle, created from numerous layers of paints and created by the efforts of the most talented craftsmen, conveys a shade of rich amethyst. On the bottom of the bottle, the inscription "1/1" flaunts, confirming that this glass bottle is unique, as befits a true work of art.

Leaving Venice, we set off on the Bvlgari Gems Trail to Rome - the cradle of the House, the source of endless inspiration. The Eternal City is at the heart of Bvlgari's daring creativity with a unique concentration of cultures, visions and colors, sparkling extravagance and an unrivalled sense of beauty. It is in the Roman high jewelery atelier that experienced Bvlgari craftsmen bring the most sophisticated, one-of-a-kind precious ideas to life. And here, in rose gold and bright gems, they create the decoration and lid for the L'OPERA GRANDIOSA bottle.

Bvlgari uses 18K rose gold and some of its favorite gems to create this exquisite necklace on the neck of the bottle. A seductive and airy sensual pattern, richly decorated with rubellites (5.39 carats), amethysts (4.86 carats) and citrines (4.56 carats), made of hexagonal gold scales, reminiscent of the iconic Serpenti design.

The rainbow jewel is crowned with a perfectly flat and dramatic spherical 2,485 carat malachite cap, reminiscent of Bvlgari's signature cabochon. The BVLGARI logo, engraved on the neck of the bottle and framed by two brilliant-cut diamonds, is the final touch to the luxurious piece of art. The combination and alternation of vibrant stones are matched with boldness and abundance: Bvlgari reiterates that the design of the Maison's jewelry is based on striking color contrasts and the ability to cope with new daring challenges.

It takes more than 250 hours of craftsmanship to create one precious bottle. The result is unimaginable, because the items that exist in the world in a single copy always become truly priceless. The fragrance, enclosed in a precious bottle, originally from Venice and Rome, and similar to a true treasure, was created by the renowned Master Perfumer Daniela Andrier.
