I'm a big fan of rose smelling aromas and Bvlgari Rose Essentielle is simply exquisite in this department. The delicate freshness in the opening with berries surrounding the rose smell is marvelous while the dry down smooths into soft musk with sandalwood and patchouli in a soft powdery sensation. I love this and am so pleased to have found it...

Such a calming perfume, especially for winter days, the rose accent isn't too sweet making it a soft floral.I think it resembles the pour femme a lot after it settles down.Suitable for any age but great on colder days.

I like that Rose Essentielle reminds me so much of YSL's Parisienne but with a distinctly fresher, more bitter, less sweet quality. This rose also reminds me of a subtle Tea Rose that is very wearable and subdued, but still makes it presence known.

No question, Rose Essentielle is a classy, elegant and sophisticated fragrance. However, something is bothering me about it. I do not know if it is musk, sandalwood or patchouli, or may be something else. I bought it untested and on my first try was unpleasantly surprised. I still have the desire to keep trying it, and I do, but so far RE is my least favorite fragrance in my rose perfume collection. No, I do not dislike it but I cannot quite make up my mind if I like it enough. Probably, I will use my bottle but will not buy Rose Essentielle EDP again.
To my surprise, I fell in love with this fragrance. The more I wear it, the more I love it. Very special.
