Calvin Klein Eternity Summer 2009 for men - Opinios Reviews

Calvin Klein Eternity Summer 2009 has a sensation of freshness coming from the citruses blended like a cocktail of sweetness. I had the original Eternity aroma and this one made me discover the world of summer fragrances.

I like this 2009 summer version better than any previous year. Like the others, it is hardly related to the original, however, this version is closer to the original. It still has a Polo Blue vibe to it, however less melon/rotten fruits accord and more greens, producing a very well grounded, maybe mature? summer fragrance. It projects well in the sunshine, and the drydown is quite close to the skin...something to share with your 'summer catch'. Worth the purchase in my book.

I am a HUGE fan of all things cK and his summer fragrances are no exception, I am typing this on the summer solstice and am in fact wearing this and enjoying it as I type this...

I got '07 ES men first and (stupidly) skipped the much ballyhooed '08 ES men so when I read the notes in the press release I was not gonna let this one get away. I actually found it at TJ Maxx before the end of last summer for 20 USD (SCORE!)...

This one begins like a cool evening cocktail with a faint bitter note of bergamot as it saunters into a robust heart of spicy pepper and fresh basil with a gentle touch of chamomile to keep it from getting too out of line from that cocktail. The drydown is unique for cK because it isn't the formulaic patchouli, sandalwood, musk+ fizzle...no,no, this cool customer finishes you off with a not-to-orintal White amber, some anise (usually found in the top or heart), and slumps you down in the shade of the cool light green nuances of the hinoki wood...aah

I have received this revamped 2009 vesrion today and comparing it to the previous version I had, which was the 2005, I have to say tht this one is not as remarkable. Okay, it smells citrusy fresh and clean, but it lacks the mediterranean whiff the 2005 version had. I will certainly wear it very often as it is very appropriate to the hot weather from where I live. All in all it is good.
