Many thanks Chanel and Mr. Beaux for this utterly stunning perfume. Chanel Les Exclusifs Bois des Iles is a sophisticated creamy sandalwood with a touch of spice and entire bunch of fine ingredients. I would have liked it to be slightly more potent since I adore it a great deal. I would like to dive in an ocean of Bois des Iles. This is the finest of the Chanels in my judgment.

This is one Chanel that is it nearly impossible not to like. A wonderful gingerbready warm classic fragrance, and even some mini aldehydes to keep reminding you that it's Chanel. A treasure in extrait de parfum, especially!

Chanel "Bois des Iles" just wordlessly, amazingly, moves me like no other frags ever did before. I remember smelling it when I was a child but never know what it was. "Pure beauty" one of my top favorite fragrance for sure!

Unrivaled beauty which doesn't ask for comparison or ideal. Absolutely inimitable, almost indescribable in its ethereal beauty. To me, this is the smell of the fairy tale forest hiding a sugar-sparkling gingerbread cottage that lured Hansel and Gretel into a trap.
