The citric freshness greets you upon initial sprays, then it transforms to a rich, spicy scent that spells elegance. The vanilla base is noticeable. It is lightly sweet, powdery, and yet it maintains gentlemanliness. Compared to my small collection of Chanel perfumes, CPM Concentrée lasts extra-ordinarily long on my skin. The projection is quite good: not in your face, but also not timid. Chanel Pour Monsieur Concentrée in one word: WONDERFUL.

Absolutely beautiful scent. I would say that this is the prelude to the much-inferior Allure Pour Homme released 10 years later. I get a smoky sweet citrus with the sexiness of heavy lavender and the manliness of nutmeg. It's a spiced desert with classiness and sophistication. I highly recommend giving it a try.
And on a side note, wear what you like. Maturity is determined by what you enjoy and prefer. If you prefer cuff links over friendship bracelets, the only person who can determine what works for you is YOU. The same thing applies to fragrances.
