Why oh why do they have to always spoil it when you find your lovely aroma and decide to discontinue it. Its such a shame.. I was in love with Dior Dior and was devastated when the sales assistant told me it was ended. This was a soft luxurious aroma with pastel sensations, very pleasant and classy and so lovable... please bring it back Dior!~

I discovered Dior Dior when i was 24 living in Rome. A sales woman gave me a sample that i almost disregarded. When I opened and applied this fragrance i was in disbelief at its sophistication and memorable quality. I wore the fragrance for all of the years it was made, and made the effort to have friends get it in Paris when it was no longer sold in New York, and then had to get Dior Dior straight from the House of Dior when that was the only place top purchase it in the mid eighties i believe in the years before it was discontinued,

Its not clear to me why Dior doesnt make this fragrance any more when Chanel is re- issuing all of their classics and so are many of the great couturiers who created perfumes with the same level of atmosphere.I would beg them to reissue it today, i would run to buy it immediately, it was so key to the art of wearing clothes well.

I have always wondered about Dior Dior being discontinued. Maybe Dior was more into refined elegance back in the years than today with their aggressive fashion. Dior Dior is the least aggressive perfume in the world. I used it when I was sixteen and it was a dream. I still have the almost empty bottle which I love to sniff every now and then. It is a green flower scent with a powerful lasting power without being overwhelming. It's a scent that would be perfect in an office, during a walk in the forest, a dinner with a handsome man, a ball at the ambassador's. I really really would love to have it marketed again. One can only hope.

I used to own this and I totally adored it. I was so upset when it was discontinued and the sales assistant told me the next best scent would be Dior Diorella. I think it does smell very like it, but it´s not Dior Dior. I would really love to see this reissued again. I can´t remember what it smells like, it´s so long ago, but I remember I loved it and was devastated when I couldn´t buy it anymore. Yes, I totally agree. Bring back Dior Dior!

This is one of my favorites..it is more elegant-if that were possible-and less citrusy than Diorella-but not as heavy or musky as Miss Dior or Dioressence. This review is for the EDT-I have a tiny bottle of the parfum to carry in my evening bag. LOVE this, but I would not call it a daytime fragrance, except for maybe at home on the weekend. Hard to describe, but wonderful.
