The design house of Giorgio Beverly Hills was founded in 1961 by retail legend Fred Hayman. Hayman was an architect of luxury in Los Angeles, delivering superior fashion, a social shopping atmosphere and white glove service to what was still a sleepy main street when he decided to go into retail at the age of 38. His store was widely known for its unique striped yellow and black awning and its excellent position on Rodeo Drive. A high-class fashion style boutique having loyal famous and superstar clients, the boutique offered a collection of exclusive and stunning fashion, gifts and home products. Developed to stimulate the fascinating Hollywood way of life, the company’s first scent, a luxurious Oriental aroma named Giorgio was introduced in 1981.

The amazing success of Giorgio perfume brought soon after even more perfume releases such as RED in 1989, Wings in 1994, Giorgio Aire in 1995, Ocean Dream and Red 2 in 1996, Giorgio G in 1999, and Giorgio Beverly Hills and So You in 2002.

The women's fragrances are accompanied by a number of famous men’s colognes including Giorgio Beverly Hills, Giorgio V.I.P. Special Reserve, Red for Men and Wings For Men.
