Van Cleef and Arpels is a French jewelry, watch, and perfume business that was established in 1896 by Salomon Arpels and Alfred Van Cleef, his son-in-law. They started out their first store in 1906 at 22 place Vendôme, Paris. Van Cleef & Arpels are famous for their professional expertise and long experience in precious gemstones and over the years have received distinct acceptance for a revolutionary gemstone setting technique called the Mystery Setting.

The ladies collection of aromas includes several seasonal releases of Van Cleef & Arpels First fragrances along with another popular collection Feerie introduced in 2008. In 2009, the brand introduced a collection of high class scents labeled Collection Extraordinaire, including six fragrances. Other significant releases are Oriens in 2010 and the most recent scent Reve for women. The latest in the men’s collection is Midnight in Paris.
