This is a masterpiece, a gem, a beauty and - of course - it's long discontinued. It has a lot going on but, for me anyway, it's all about the civet. The impeccably utilized, quite front and center but at all times mostly tame and completely under control civet. If it's compared to other fragrances it's almost always Guerlain's Jicky that it's put up with. It opens citrusey with lemon dominating along with neroli. Lavender is another major player here and throughout. In the mids carnation, geranium and rose come to play. In the drydown our civet recedes somewhat to be supplanted by a lovely musk that is framed in amber and vanilla.

This is absolutely amazing, very well-blended, smooth and delicious fragrance that presents a highly admirable style and grace. A true masterpiece of such exquisitely blended notes. Even the yellow-flamed cap is looks marvelous with the dark blue bottle!
