I have the original Faubourg and was quite happily thrilled when first trying Hermes 24 Faubourg Eau Delicate. It doesn't resemble at all the classic version, but is really pleasing, fresh, and perfectly rounded. It is somewhat sequential and fairly sweet floral on my skin, yet is well balanced by tiny portions of wood, musk, and green notes. I think it is very satisfying to use. Lasting power and projection are extremely good, which means use mildly.
