In honor of Bvlgari's 130th Anniversary the house has developed a number of special editions of its top collections in handbags, jewelry and fragrance. A celebration of endless rebirth with ageless icons in the spirit of a jewel we have the design of a limited edition extremely high-class master piece, the Bvlgari Opera Prima fragrance.
The Opera Prima is an exquisite chypre elixir with excitingly feminine substances, appearing from the unique collaboration concerning two specialists of Italian expertise: jewelry and luxury goods brand Bvlgari and glass maker-designer Venini. The statue bottle, created by the master glassmakers, remembers the ancient Roman amphora which held treasured gems, valued spices and stunning floral essences. Spectacular in its amazing combination of colors, and embellished with approximately 250 carats of citrine, over 25 carats of diamonds and over 4.45 carats of amethyst masterfully placed in the crust of yellow gold alloy, the bottle features a sheet of gold that is dissolved between several layers of glass. The fragrance, formulated by master perfumer Daniela Roche Andrier, brings to mind the essences of the Mediterranean with its fragrant elements of citron, lemon and orange blossom.
