Chopard Bois Nomades Patchouli de Sumatra Santal Odeyar

Chopard is adding new members to its Gardens perfume range. Three new perfumes, Bois Nomades, Patchouli de Sumatra and Santal Odeyar. All three appear for Chopard in wood themes. The emphasis of the triplet of new editions, created by perfumers Alberto Morillas and Dora Baghriche, is on ethical sourcing and sustainability.

Chopard Garden of the Tropics

These scents match with Chopard’s sustainability code, which started in 2013. By selecting a responsible sourcing approach, the house recognized that true luxury should be ethical and responsible.

For the co-president and artistic director of the brand, Caroline Scheufele, a perfume is something personal, it allows you to communicate your personality. She is the muse behind the new fragrances: Santal Odeyar, Bois Nomades and Patchouli de Sumatra. “They are the embodiment of a vision, that of Caroline Scheufele. This vision is not projected on a white screen, but on the skin, on a cashmere sweater, in the hair or in the air around us, and everyone can tell the story in their own way,”

“I decided to work with perfumers I knew – Alberto Morillas and Dora Baghriche – because, just like in my jewelry studio, I surround myself with people who are dear to me,” Scheufele explains. Master perfumer Alberto Morillas wanted to create a garden that looked like a thousand and one nights. Morillas also created Bois Nomads.

Santal Odeyar

House in an emerald green bottle is Santal Odeyar in its woody essence, but floral and fruity from the initial spray. Orange Blossom from Tunisia and Morocco, Jasmine Grandiflorum Infusion from Egypt, Jasmine Sambac from India and Damask Rose from Turkey shape the heart of the aroma. Dry down notes feature white sandalwood from Australia, cistus absolute from Spain and benzoin gum from Siam.
