Christian Dior Gris Montaigne Perfume

Christian Dior Gris Montaigne Perfume
Christian Dior is introducing a new fragrant composition in their recently re-named in store Collection Privee library Gris Montaigne. The aroma is named following the renowned gray color most loved and widely used by the great fashion designer Christian Dior. At this point, it turns into the image of the house's personal exquisite style as the pearl gray tone is presented in its olfactory expression by the masterful hands of perfumer François Demachy.

Demachy decided to create a composition in the chypre family of aromas, the most comfortably stylish, personalized and indifferent of the perfume varieties. For Demachy, chypre perfumes "are the most emblematic of a vintage style" noting that "everyone's got a chypre in their childhood memories" transforming one of the least emotional types of aromas into a exquisite and outstanding perfume that will grab our attention.

Dior Gris Montaigne eau de parfum includes opening notes of bergamot and mandarin making way to a classic floral heart featuring notes of rose and jasmine layered on a bed of patchouli, amber, cedar wood and sandalwood in the final dry down. Free of unnecessary and superfluous additions this flawlessly structured aroma resembles a gorgeous gray flannel jacket.

Christian Dior Gris Montaigne is currently available exclusively at Dior boutiques.
