The house of Christian Dior delivers a new option to its deluxe fragrance lines in the La Collection Privee series with La Colle Noire. The brand for the newest entry was given its name after Chateau de La Colle Noire in Fayence that was Dior's vacation get away until he passed away. Later the house was acquired by the Dior brand.

Francois Demachy mentioned that La Colle Noire celebrates Rose de Mai merged with spices, woods, amber and musks where the Grasse Rose is unique, spicy and strong. Though not overly sweet, it gives all the natural and sun-drenched beauty of this location in the south of France.
