Christian Dior Les Elixirs Precieux Perfume Collection

Christian Dior Les Elixirs Precieux Perfume Collection
Influenced by the primitive Middle Eastern techniques of layering aromas, in January 2014 Dior Perfumes launched Les Elixirs Precieux, a range of four scented oils created to be layered together with the famous perfumes from Christian Dior's La Collection Privee.

Christian Dior's in house master perfumer François Demachy created a series of precious elixirs, Rose Elixir Precieux, Ambre Elixir Precieux, Musc Elixir Precieux and Oud Elixir Precieux highlighting four primary accords formulated by the renowned perfumer. Demachy envisioned the oils being applied on pulse points on their own (a droplet of luxury on the inside of your arm, at the back of the ear, down the hairline, or in the elbow fold), or layering them to transform such eternal favorites as Grand Bal, Granville, and Bois D'Argent to develop surprising sensorial encounters among different and diverse perfume notes.

Ahead of times before using alcohol in perfumes, our forefathers would perfume themselves with essential oils, with evidence dating over 5 Millenniums back. Now in our times, Demachy has delivered a brilliant perspective on these customary oriental perfuming ceremonies and enhanced the olfactory intuitive feelings, recommending such different combinations for example Elixir Precieux Musc (a comfortable aroma) to supercharge the masculinity of Granville, or Elixir Precieux Rose (a reminiscent, multi-faceted note) to calm the unique signature of Bois D'Argent, or even Ambre Elixir Precieux with New Look 1947 or Oud Elixir Precieux with Grand Bal and just let your senses explorer the boundaries of the endless combinations possible. Think of it as high fashion in the perfume arena. Take a moment and imagine what could be more fantastic than this.
