TNT's The Alienist: Angel of Darkness replicates this shifty period where gamblers and gang leaders smeared hands with politicians and celebrities. What would it all smell like? Well not very good if you were out by the docks. Then again, what if you caught whiff of Sara Howard's perfume, the badass smoking detective?
