Gucci Flora Garden - Magnolia Tuberose Gardenia Mandarin Violet

World famous fashion design house of Gucci introduces a new selective collection of five new fragrances. The new fragrance collection named Flora Garden was inspired and brought to life by the houses well known creative director Frida Giannini.

The story behind flora garden originates from the classic and legendary Gucci Scarf that was designed by Vittorio Accornero as a special commission for Princess Grace of Monaco. The scarf is blemished with different blossoms in magnificent colors and has become a timeless motif and known as the Gucci Scarf. The success of flora garden theme inspired the creation of many other Gucci prestigious collections from jewelry to handbags based on Flora Garden.

Original Flora by Gucci aiming younger women first launched in 2009 after that followed a more intense version Flora Eau de Parfum in 2010 and last year's 2011 Flora Eau Fraiche with a softer tone. This year's Gucci's Flora Garden Fragrance Collection is based on the five most important blossoms from the legendary Gucci Scarf. This magnificent and colorful bouquet includes the following editions: Glorious Mandarin, Gracious Tuberose, Gorgeous Gardenia, Glamorous Magnolia and Generous Violet.

Gucci Flora Gorgeous Gardenia is a sparkling prelude of succulent red berries and juicy pear that gives way to an opulent floral heart. The plushness of gardenia petals is enhanced by the creamy warmth of frangipani flower, under-laid by the delectable aroma of patchouli and brown sugar.

Gucci Flora Gracious Tuberose is a distinctively elegant tuberose composition in which a verdant overture of violet leaves and peach softens into the plant's silken blossom. A base of white cedar wood and cistus (Labdanum) enhances the impression of refined charm.

Gucci Flora Glorious Mandarin is a magnificent scent that blends joyful mandarin with the tropical rum and pineapple pina colada. In place of the traditional coconut, the cocktail is completed with creamy wood notes that are at once contemporary and sumptuously feminine.

Gucci Flora Generous Violet is a combination of two of perfumery's most distinguished oils violet and orris resulting in an exquisite effect. Their heady yet decorous luxuriousness is complemented by the rich, textural quality of Gucci's suede accord, evoking the hidden feminine secrets of a woman's handbag.

Gucci Flora Glamorous Magnolia has a brilliant opening of buoyant freesia, zest and green leaves lead to a tactile fusion of peony and magnolia. Sandalwood, musk and warm chocolate lend sensuousness to a base that proves endless and addictive.

Face of Gucci's Flora Garden Collection advertising campaign is famous fashion model Abbey Lee Kershaw, shot by Solve Sundsbo one of fashion's most esteemed photographers.

The whole Flora Garden collection is based on the idea of reflecting different perceptions of the same women through floral themes and most importantly each of the fragrances to be distinct from each other.

Gucci Flora Glamorous Magnolia, Gucci Flora Gracious Tuberose and Gucci Flora Gorgeous Gardenia are available in 50ml and 100ml Eau De Toilette versions while Gucci Flora Glorious Mandarin and Gucci Flora Generous Violet will be offered exclusively at Gucci flag stores in 100ml Eau De Toilette versions.
