Gucci Made To Measure Fragrance

The prestigious house of Gucci is introducing its latest and completely new men's aroma this summer under the label Made to Measure. The promotion and marketing campaign is performed by actor James Franco, image for the brand since 2008. Creative director Frida Giannini enthusiastically praised the high moral standards of Franco saying,

"James has an innate ability to fuse classic with contemporary style and interpret formal wear in an individual way, personifying the spirit of our Made to Measure hero... His idiosyncratic wit, intellect and strong sense of self are perfectly expressed via Gucci's personalized sartorial expertise. James is as compelling a man to tailor as he is to know."

Titled after the house of Gucci's custom service "Made to Measure", the formulation of the new aroma evolves and grows into the image of a personalized outfit design right to the final detail, resembling the ideal match of the fragrant elements and substances of the scent and its personalized sense to the techniques an expert utilizes for the outfit he orders.

Gucci Made To Measure fragrance is a spicy oriental formulation that starts by unwrapping opening notes of Calabria Bergamot, Tunisian Orange Flower, French Lavender and stylish Anise Seed delivering the feeling of a custom hand created suit. The heart slowly develops and is placed on notes of Sri Lankan Nutmeg, Water Lily, Juniper Berry, Plum and Cinnamon. Should the starting notes be described as the silky face of the opening the heart would be similar to cashmere, as described by the brand. The dry down completes the creation featuring notes of Cistus Labdanum, Patchouli, Leather and Amber giving shape and design while outlining the figure of the whole fragrant outfit. Then there is one additional element required to complete the creation and it is the Man according to the brand.

American actor, filmmaker, teacher and author James Franco is the face of the fragrance. He presented the 83rd Annual Academy Awards in 2011 exclusively outfitted in Made to Measure by Gucci. He stated that "As I strive for excellence in all my endeavors, whether film, art or literature I feel a natural connection to the Gucci Made to Measure connoisseur.”

Gucci Made To Measure fragrance for men is expected to launch in 30ml, 50ml and 90ml versions of eau de toilette formulation, along with matching supplementary body care products.
