Guerlain JonOne Perfume Collection 2016

Guerlain JonOne Perfume Collection 2016
The deluxe French perfume and cosmetics house Guerlain has partnered with a popular American street artist for an exclusive collection, combining olfactory and sensory expertise with artwork. The outcomes of this uncommon effort will be on the market from January 2016.

A unique and surely unique attempt concerning the New York artist and the French perfume house at the Guerlain Exclusive Collections innovative lab has result in three limited edition bottles that will be offered from early 2016. Each bottle is a redesigning of the famous bee-pattern bottle, developed by Pierre-Francois-Pascal Guerlain in 1853 as element of a unique demand for the marriage of Eugenie de Montijo and Napoleon III.

For the occasion the one liter bottle was appointed to JonOne as a blank canvas, allowing him to demonstrate his skill with his astounding colored style. The result is a burst of colorings in three unique tones: blue for Shalimar Extract, pink for La Petite Robe Noire Extract and orange for Rose Barbare Eau de Parfum.

All the bottles were painted at the JonOne workshop in Paris. They were creatively modernized and completed one-by-one from the artist, creating a distinct bottle each time. These "bee bottles" also maintain the Guerlain impression in the design of a satin ribbon which is located on the neck.

For the celebration of this special collaboration, Guerlain will have a happening of JonOne's work in its famous store on the Champs-Elysees in Paris from the starting of January until the end of February, 2016.

The Guerlain x JonOne range of aromas will be offered in a numbered and signed bee bottle with 34 pieces for "Shalimar" and 32 pieces for "La Petite Robe Noire" and "Rose Barbare". To obtain a piece of these impressive works of art be prepared to sacrifice €9000-Euros each.
