Hermes Bel Ami Vetiver Fragrance

December 2013 the house of Hermes has released The Classics Collection, a perfume selection of eight vintage fragrances from the legendary French perfume label that have been repacked in the famous coach lantern perfume bottles.

The collection involves a new creation, the very first in a planned line of classic Hermes scents reformulated by in house perfumer Jean-Claude Ellena. Suitably titled Bel Ami Vetiver is a new approach of the 1986 masculine Bel Ami, a leathery chypre initially created by perfumer Jean-Louis Sieuzac and now introduced in a vetiver/patchouli perspective. An exclusive aspect involves a hidden illustration noticed only through the bottle imprinted on the rear side of the fronting label. The rest of the classic scents in the selection will include Eau D'Hermes, Caleche, Equipage, Amazone, Rocabar, Hiris and Rouge.

Hermes Bel Ami Vetiver is already available in 100ml versions in Eau de Toilette concentration priced at 88Eur initially at Hermes Boutiques and from 2014 will roll out to selected retailers globally.
