L'Autre Oud is a story that reveals the secrets of the mythical Oud Wood, a play among light and darkness, power and gentleness, freshness and sensuality. A simple formula of seventeen elements, carefully chosen is able to bring to life this divine aroma. The beginning is spun in a spicy saffron surge mixed with Indian cypriol and labdanum absolute while aromatic clary sage give an aromatic personality. At the heart of the composition, the harmony of Turkish and Bulgarian roses represents the timeless character of the house of Lancôme. The dry down is woody, rich and powerful, revealing smoked guaiac wood, with the green wet strength of moist patchouli and vetiver giving earthy warmth along a fine balance of smooth wood of Amyris fresh mossy gurjum balm and absolute myrrh.
