Setting a landmark for the centenary of Gucci, a special new fragrance labelled 1921 enters The Alchemist’s Garden luxury collection. Developed around the unique Neroli Flower, the aroma also features, in another respect to House heritage, the Limone Cedrato fruit from Florence, the city where Gucci was founded. Formulated by master perfumer Alberto Morillas, under Alessandro Michele's creative direction, the personalized products are made up of eaux de parfum, perfumed oils and acque profumate (meaning "scented waters").

The collection is influenced by the art of alchemy and fragrance-making, created to be layered and combined to create an exclusive, customized fragrance blend. Created around a hero ingredient linked to the distinctive codes of the House, each aroma can be amplified, muted or fused with other fragrances from the line to create a unique sillage.

1921 Gucci Into the Future

Valued for its floral and sweet notes, the Neroli Flower is both intense and subtle, mixing an elegant density with a fizzy green edge. The greenness of the Neroli Flower blends gracefully with the dazzling freshness of the Limone Cedrato, a zesty ingredient that is fresher and more floral than the lemon fruit. Providing richness, intensity, and an incomparable endurance to the fragrance, Oakmoss offers an earthy, lavish forest-like quality, a classy signature note that marks 1921 as a fragrance that goes beyond gender and seasonality.

The fragrance can be emphasized by layering it with perfumed oils and acque profumate from the collection to create a personalized combination.

Influenced by the bottles found on the wooden shelves of a vintage apothecary, interesting pharmacy containers and the first perfumery vessels, the fragrance comes in a transparent green glass, as an honor to one of the House’s emblematic colors.
