From the caged elevators, to Bemelmans, to the storied suites, The Carlyle holds the flame for what New York was and what it still is today. The aroma of the original soap (and now our updated perfume/amenity products) takes you back through corridors of epic all-nighters where actors, politicians, and posh people rubbed elbows over fine drinks. - D.S.
