Cologne is a timeless balancing act of citrus, flowers, and Mediterranean herbs. Since 2009, I've been making and remaking my version of the original cologne formula we all know and love. This is it. Opening notes of the composition comprise of Tunisian neroli, bergamot and mandarin orange. The heart notes are lavender, orange blossom absolute and rosemary. The base is expressed by notes of petit-grain and copal. This is the title of the fossil resin released by some tropical trees. It looks like amber. However, they significantly differ in chemical composition. The word copal is most likely taken from the Sanskrit chandarasa, which means "spirit of the moon". Additionally, this word is also related with sandarak resin.
