Van Cleef & Arpels' Collection Extraordinaire since its creation in 2009 has granted importance to the most gracious ingredients in perfumery. One of these real treasures are prized woods; rooted in nature, which endlessly influence the Maison, they have always had an exclusive spot within the collection.

In the path of Bois d'Iris and Bois Doré, Van Cleef & Arpels is releasing a new scent that gives satisfaction to a remarkable wood; created around Cedar, Bois d'Amande evokes the secret and gourmand aroma of an imaginary almond tree.

Bois d'Amande brings an experience of irresistible tastes

As explained by perfumer Sidonie Lancesseur "When creating this new fragrance, I pictured almond trees in the Italian sunshine. I wanted to create a wonderful contrast between the verticality of the woody notes and the irresistible tenderness of an almond accord, together with a vanilla base."

The woody notes composing the perfume are derived from the unique Virginian Cedar tree, which originates on the eastern side of North America, from the river sides of the Saint Lawrence River to Florida.

At the center of Bois d'Amande, warm notes of Cedar are surrounded by a powdery almond accord, the sweetness of which is boosted by vanilla musk in the dry down. A velvety and cocooning cloud, which covers the skin with the exquisiteness of a luminous silky veil.
