New Gen perfumer Jerome Di Marino has reinvented one of the industry's most iconic chords, Amber 83, and created an exciting and unprecedented fragrance composition. The neon-amber bathing ritual is perfect for newcomers to the amber fragrance world and for everyone who likes to play with fire.

Amber 83 was created in 1889 by the legendary perfume house De Laire and has become a reference for oriental fragrances. Since 2015, Jerôme had the idea to revise this traditional structure and brought new ingredients into this exciting, unprecedented creation.

The New Gen perfumer Jerome Di Marino, who always gives a new twist to classical notes, has reinvented the iconic Amber 83 accord for Neon Amber by Molton Brown.

“I wanted to revive the oriental fragrance family and create something very unusual and unexpected. This fragrance is a daring reinvention of the iconic amber 83 accord. I replaced the vanilla with the tonka bean, which is very rich and sensual and has an opulent creaminess; I see it as the new vanilla. The accord of vanilla, rock rose, labdanum and patchouli has been appreciated over time for its warm, amber and opulent presence. In Neon Amber, Jerome replaces the classic vanilla note with an overdose of Tonka Absolute, also known as the "new vanilla", for a sensual, creamy and complex heart.

The fragrance started out as a very personal project for the New Gen Perfumer. Jerome originally created it to wear himself as he is a lover of deep, opulent fragrances. Mysterious yet warm and familiar, the eau de toilette awakens the senses with bright mandarin and pink pepper in the top note, dominated by Tonka Absolute and enhanced by dry cedar leaf. In the base note, Jerome added resinous rock rose with fresh, mineral Ambroxan for a warm, mysterious note.
