Very fresh up front, and woody at the end. This is a very versatile fragrance. It's fresh enough for day/summer use, but the wood and spice work well in the cooler weather. It's very masculine, without being overly aggressive. This works well at the office, or a night out.

Ralph Lauren Polo Black fragrance is something really special for me. A masculine and really handsome scent best worn for nights out or to work in the cooler seasons. The fresh and sweet opening persists quite long as the spices flow in adding depth and warmth when the signature muskiness of the original Polo makes a flash. Very pleasant wearing and on me this last 5-6 hours with 3 sprays.
