    Triumphantly Affirms Gender’s Equity

Zara Improbable Series tickled me, so I ordered several of the Zara Improbable Series fragrances online to see what they were all about. I feel like they are a deal, discounted in this season they cost me almost nothing. So I ended up buying the fragrance Somewhere Nowhere, Feels Like Winter, and finally Feels Like Summer. I opened up the fragrances I have listed above the order of which fragrances I liked most and which fragrances I liked the least. I had never smelled these fragrances before, so these were blind to me. Such a steal for Somewhere Nowhere, an outstanding smelling soapy, clean, citrus musky floral fragrance that will be perfect for Summer. So I’m really excited to tell you about this one today.
Somewhere Nowhere is a fragrance that triumphantly affirms the equality of women and men. However, it sounds differently on male or female skin. This floral-woody fragrance combines the intertwining of fresh citrus notes of lemon, the pungent scent of magnolia, and the nourish notes of musk.

Wow, wow… Wow! I can’t say if this perfume really has the WOW factor, yet as soon as I spray it, the air fills with a citrus aroma reminiscent of the famous lemon zest liqueur, or Limoncello, an Italian liqueur produced mainly in Southern Italy, especially in the region around the Gulf of Naples, the Sorrento Peninsula, the Amalfi Coast and the islands of Procida, Ischia and Capri. The similarity is so strong that it almost makes you want to sip it. The scent greets me with lemon zest, from peel without marrow, which soaks in rectified alcohol. The lemony is the essence that I get most in the opening, however, the more I wear it, the more I treasure it. It is not the vibrant and sour aroma you get from the sharp lemon juice, so harsh and tart, but a creamier lemon with some sweet shades that reminds the icy liqueur. But the opening is not just too zesty; I feel some soapy and clean vibe, which makes me think of some notes of orange blossom or neroli blend in the pyramid, either.

After that initial citric explosion, full of pride and joie de vivre, the perfume softens into a floral and musky creaminess. The magnificent magnolia supports the heart, a white flower I am fond of, in nature the smell captures you from a long distance, and here I do not feel its more carnal and sensual flavor, instead more similar to lemon with the smell that the petals of the flower they emanate when the weather is humid outside and it is possible to capture that harshness in the air. The mixture of lemon fruits and magnolia flowers is fantastic, fresh, inviting. At some point, somewhere in the intermediate stage, I catch a docile note similar to the aroma of vanilla sugared almonds, which comes unexpectedly and makes me feel happy.

At the end, when the citrus and floral notes move in the background and have calmed down a bit but still linger, a clean and smooth white musk emerges, which keeps the base fresh and tidy, typical of summer fragrances. The moss is soft and very close to the skin; it is not a classic white musk, fortunately, because I don’t like white musk, which has a too artificial smell like fabric softener. It is different, delicate, eerie and relaxing for me. Occasionally, a puff of dusty vanilla reaches my nostrils, although the base remains fresh and musky, neither too sweet nor sickening.

Associated with its clever contrast of crisp and clean notes with grungy and earthy notes, Somewhere Nowhere is provocative and puts in a good mood. Do not expect powerful performance, because the fragrance notes are all attenuated and therefore both the projection and longevity are below average. The scent does not reach the people next to you, nor does it fill the room where you stay, but I soon find it close to the skin. I’m not complaining, it’s so cheap that you can reapply whenever you want, the tiny 30ml refillable bottle is so cute and useful.

It is a fragrance for the hottest seasons, from late spring, the entire summer, until the beginning of autumn are the most suitable seasons to wear it. Without gender, in my humble opinion, although it is available among the women’s perfumes in the ZARA store and online.

This review bases upon a 30ml (1 FL. oz) I own since July 2020.
