Chanel No 19 EDP is a work of art. The real aroma associated with beauty as well as elegance. I really like the green and woody foundation, however it is the leather element that personally connected me to this. I am completely hooked...!

An iconic/ aloof/ hissing and venomous green chypre of a fragrance that beckons admiration but only from afar. The anti-thesis of the voluptuously powdery rose-jasmine No. 5, this fragrance is for a woman now characterized by angularity and prismatic sharpness, like a crone, still beautiful but now older and "more handsome" -- even butch. Feminine still, but almost heartless. Ideal for those that want to project elegance tinged with masked steeliness and severity.

This is lovely, smooth, elegant and otherworldly. I have a splash bottle, so the act of daubing it on adds to the elegance. Anointing myself, I am ready to glide above it all, serene, secure and confident. The fragrance of a goddess in her ascendancy.

GREEN, fresh, vegetal. Smells like someone threw baby powder on freshly cut grass and vetiver and then passes you by a cool breeze. Very open meadow-ish sprinkled with florals here and there. A bit herbal and cool / sweet . Sometime I catch whiffs of leather and bitterness. It's definitely sophisticated and grown up but with a free-spirit.
