From the name Chanel Cristalle is a clear and bright aroma. It starts with a powerful citrus blend and then gradually, turns into a soft oakmoss greenness. This works perfectly for me in the summer season carrying an airy lightness of bright sensations while the lasting power and projection are very good.

For some reason, I think of this fragrance as sipping an icy gin and tonic with a slice of lemon, while watching the ocean waves on a bright summer's day. My only regret is that the edt version I bought doesn't last more than a short while on my skin, but what beautiful moments!

I got Chanel Cristalle specifically to have something to wear in the office in the warmer summer months. It's a classy, fresh scent that does not dissapoint. The initial zest of lemon soon dries down to a greener, mossy smell, which is still very lively with hyacinth. It's a substancial yet light perfume, ideal office wear. I've also found it surprisingly easy to spritz on casually on a summers day too, without associating with work - it's a versatile fragrance for warm days. Like a classic ponytail, or crisp white shirt.
