Azzaro
Loris Azzaro Designer History:
French fashion designer Loris Azzaro was born in 1933 and was well recognized for his fascinating party outfit designs for French contemporary society women. He became successful fairly swiftly. With his initial shop starting off in 1962, his company had grown to be well known by 1968. Through the years he outfitted many famous people like Dalida, Sophia Loren, Raquel Welch, Marisa Berenson, Claudia Cardinale, Isabelle Adjani and lately Kate Winslet and Nicole Kidman.
Azzaro's collections are always named alphabetically by season. The first season's collection featured clothing all given names starting with an A, the next with B names and so on. Azzaro admitted that he would sometimes skip a letter like Q, X or Z because it was too hard to find names for those letters.
Loris Azzaro quoted: "My parents were Italian but I was born in Tunisia where I passed all my youth. There is to say if I am inhabited by the Mediterranean, the sun, sand and the blue colour. The operas which fredonnait my father, the cakes of my mother, the dresses which bent my grandmother, odours of the Mediterranean... These memories of childhood accompanied me all my life and are present in my creations. The meetings guided my life. As of my childhood, I was surrounded by very eclectic people. Then as an adult, I had the chance to have a trade which enabled me to make marvellous meetings of truths thunderbolts. It is a great happiness and an extraordinary enrichment to share simple moments of the life with people that one likes. I adore to like, it is what I like more. Loved and loved being, it is that the life. I acknowledge to have had an extraordinary chance, that to make the trade which I had chosen and to succeed. The sea became my favourite mode of expression. But how to imagine a line, a femininity without the exalter by a perfume? And especially how to approach my perfumes without evoking the Mediterranean, the love, the sun, the seduction... My sources of inspiration. I let myself carry by the atmosphere of the country of my childhood with his spiced odours, his colours, his flowers, his perfumes. It is the country where I become again really myself, the country where my preferred colour is everywhere, azure of the sky and the sea. The blue colour is the colour which suits me."

His initial perfume, Couture, was brought out in 1975 and evolved into the company's signature scent. A few more new scents the series is best-known for are Visit For Women and its men's version, Visit For Men. In 1996, the men's aroma Chrome emerged into the fragrance arena and is nowadays one of the best-selling men's colognes in the fragrance industry. Silver Black is the one of the most recent colognes from the brand. Among the perfumes, several of the considerably more seasonable fragrances are the Pink and Orange Tonics. He presented both a women's and men's apparel range and accessories. Nevertheless, these days his enterprise is recognized more for its fragrances rather than for its clothing.
