Carolina Herrera Designer History:
Born in 1939 Caracas Venezuela and since 1981 Established in New York City, Carolina Herrera was known as one of the finest dressed ladies in the world from the early 1970s to late 1980s. Her empire expanded swiftly and decisively and she even dressed Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis for the last 12 years of her life. In the early 80's she launched her personal ready-to-wear collection and her styles are acclaimed for their stylish and simple designs.

She introduced a new, youthful approach for the social debs, included a collection of short prom gowns and elegant ball dresses, simple barely bares midriffs with trimmed tanks or bustiers under coats and jackets for day time to evening hour wear. The Carolina Herrera business has also extended into accessories and leather products.

Carolina Herrera Fragrance History:
Mostly recognized for her classy day and evening wear she also has her personal fragrance, which carries her name. She presented her first scent in 1988 while the fragrances are licensed to Puig Beauty. There are over 50 fragrances with the first versions coming from 1991 and the most recent ones from 2013. Carolina Herrera fragrances are made in association with perfumers Alberto Morillas, Olivier Cresp, Rosendo Mateu, Jacques Cavallier, Ann Gottlieb, Carlos Benaim, Clement Gavarry, Carolina Adriana Herrera and Jean-Marc Chaillan.
