By the way, I was looking for an oud-based perfume as a replacement of my treasured M7, and I came across FERRARI Essence Oud. Don’t get me wrong, I meant exactly Essence Oud. While getting more details about that, I found that there is a wide collection of FERRARI essences, and Leather is one of those, meant to be oriental, leathery, and fougére.

This is the very first time I got a FERRARI perfume, never tried any before. So... Just following the first squirt I got a spicy, sweet and warm aroma of clove buds blended with tart orange peel and just a feel of bergamot. Ain’t no medicinal note in there, but something slightly subtle and powdery. I think I adore that inception, miles away from the traditional citrus top notes of many other fragrances.

As soon as that pleasant blend fades down, the starring notes of this leathery juice start revealing their best. Plenty of luxury dark leather accord surrounded by sensual tonka and a pinch of aromatic cassia bark spread around the woody notes with a red-hot candy nuance.

The dry down is rich of superior patchouli, smoothness of cedar and smokiness of gaiac wood, and an amusing touch of creamy vanilla powder. The overall scent is captivating, not boring at all.

Meseems, Leather Essence is a refined and extremely elegant fragrance that makes a masculine signature. I recommend this for cooler temperature like fall and winter, both during day and night out. Since it is not overpowering can be safely worn at work. On my skin, longevity and sillage are above the average, an exceptional fragrance. Interesting thing, the bottle is wrapped by a nice leather cover that reminds the interior of the Ferrari GT. To me, this scent deserves a full 8/10! You know what... I am tempted to buy FERRARI Essence Vetiver... sounds promising!!!

I couldn't wait to get my hand on a bottle of Ferrari Leather Essence, so the moment I came across this on display a grabbed a bottle. If you love leather perfumes like me then give this a try. This is a mighty fresh leathery blend mellowed to a softly sweet powdery patchouli trail. The bottle looks fantastic and the heavy glass and leather accents matches the quality of this fine aroma. I'm really pleased to have this now.

What can I say. Ferrari Leather Essence is advancing the standards of the Ferrari fragrance section. The scent has a nice quality sensation not to mention the oud just love it. It has very good lasting power on my skin with just the right touch of lightness with woods and spices that hangs in there all day. Even the packaging has such detail and looks so stylish matching the quality and class of the Ferrari automobile name.
