22 Vendome Van Cleef & Arpels Collection Extraordinaire

22 place Vendome a special homage to the historic home of Van Cleef & Arpels. At this renowned address, Van Cleef & Arpels started its first boutique when it was established in 1906. Deeply associated to this major center of French jewelry, the Maison expanded over time to include numbers 20 and 24. In 2020, this huge site was entirely reworked by the agency Jouin Manku. With its gentle curves, fine colors and plant-inspired details, the space subtly evokes the poetic nature much-loved by the Maison. On the stairwell, Art Deco-inspired roses are unveiled in full bloom as they irresistibly captivate the observer.

The mark of a place 22 Vendome

To celebrate this redevelopment, Van Cleef & Arpels decided to start a unique Salon des Parfums at 22, its historic birthplace. A new olfactory creation envisioned by the perfumer Quentin Bisch celebrates this significant occasion. 22 Vendome, a fragrance committed to the Maison’s historic address. Just as unique as each of the aromas in the Collection Extraordinaire, this fragrance signifies the Maison's special connection with this location.

22 Vendome a jewel of roses

The iconic Art Deco rose motifs of the Vendôme salons influenced perfumer Quentin Bisch for the creation of the scent. This exclusive floral blend, crafted like a jewel, comes out following a fruity opening that brings together pear and bergamot essence. It combines with iris to create treasured and sophisticated heart notes. At the foundation, patchouli and vetiver offer a truly contemporary chypre trail, while tonka bean brings a surprising gourmand touch.

The signature style of the Collection Extraordinaire receives the remarkable floral motifs that decorate the stairwell of the Vendome salons. These special roses can be seen through the transparent back of the bottle in a bright shade of silver. They are also imprinted on the sleeve of the collection's iconic white box. Elegant details that bring to mind the Maison’s historic address and unique olfactory legacy.
