Bond No. 9 founder Laurice Rahmé was influenced by the scenery's newfound energetic spirit "Chelsea is making a big comeback. People are starved for freedom and fun and this area is known for all of that," she says. "It’s as if we're all birds coming out of the cage!"

This daring new aroma denotes the numerous aspects of its Manhattan location with its mix of gourmand and oriental composition. And just like an indulgent night out, it’s indisputably sexy. There’s spicy and warm saffron and hazelnut in the opening, an incredibly special blend of rose, turmeric, and sesame at its heart, and the juice is balanced in a solid, each-star selection of voluptuous, smoky notes including patchouli, myrrh, amber, and black suede, among others. "It’s nearly a bit of a sultry 70s nightlife mood," notes Rahmé. This statement- making aroma is made to last an entire night out and will get you home safely in the early morning hours.
