Guerlain Idylle Duet Jasmin Lilas 2013

Guerlain Idylle Duet Jasmin Lilas 2013
Ever since Thierry Wasser took over as Guerlain's in house perfumer, Guerlain has been seeking a modernized emphasis on raw perfume elements, and particularly how the environment and different grounds influence their olfactive profile and quality. The passion for obtaining raw ingredients is widely known from the period of Jean-Paul Guerlain times. To emphasize the unique qualities and characteristics of raw materials, the house has commenced in reintroducing existing perfume formulations marketed as using an essential element taken from a different part of the world than the preceding version. Shalimar Ode a la Vanille was the first to start with such relaunch, with a second batch featuring its Madagascan vanilla and this year's third chapter featuring the Mexican Vanilla extract. Today comes Idylle Duet Jasmin-Lilas 2013, the fragrance from 2012 that has been remade for 2013 with jasmine coming from Calabria (the initial release featured Indian jasmine).

This beautiful upgraded version with the Calabrian jasmine is claimed to be more fruity and powdery. The Calabrian jasmine at the heart of this fragrance is blended with fruity accents while It softens the original fragrance's rosy notes helping boost the purple lilac even more. With its powdery and almost musky facets, the new Idylle Duet Jasmin Lilas 2013 provides an amazing difference with the new variety of Calabrian jasmine.

Guerlain's new seasonal limited edition Idylle Duet Jasmin Lilas 2013 is available in 50ml versions of Eau De Parfum formulation.
