From what I've read, the biggest issue with subsequent productions of this fragrance has been that one of the main organic ingredients is no longer readily available; it would be too mostly to use, and affects the stability and quality of the product. Also, back in the day, many of the fragrances sadly used animal products. I loved the lavender powder and the pale green fragrance veil. I remember going to replenish mine and not finding it...

Oh! de London was my signature fragrance from 1965-1969. I was deeply into the "London Look" and used Yardley cosmetics exclusively. I loved this scent so much, and have carried a torch for it for 50+ years. I'm always trying to find a replacement, but none of its supposed "replicas" have ever been right. Currently trying to recreate the scent with the help of an indie perfumery. I wish Yardley would bring back the real thing!

I loved this scent as a teenager and young adult. It was lovely and I used it more than any other scent during those years (1967-1973)

The top note that I remembered most is the distinct scent of those candy “dots” that come glued to those penny candy rolls of white paper. I miss it still, but have never been able to find it’s duplicate.....

I loved Oh de London!! They've tried to recreate it - but it is not the same as the original. I heard the original formula was sold - but it's still not the same. Do wish they would bring back the old formula. Happy Memories
