Note di Colonia II Unisex fragrance by Acqua Di Parma

The niche Italian perfume brand Acqua di Parma is unveiling Note di Colonia collection of aromas in September 2016. The triplet of these opera-inspired fragrances celebrates the 100th anniversary of the brand's Colonia aroma.

Acqua di Parma has reached its first centenary 1916 - 2016. Its beginnings are inseparably connected to the city of Parma, where Colonia, the fragrance which designated its first appearance, was brought to life and where the brand has been maintaining the principles of artwork, music and classiness from its start off. To rejoice the Centenary and in honor to its city and its history, Acqua di Parma is creating Note di Colonia. A new series which draws creativity from the world of opera with three distinct perfumes, each package enclosed in a reinterpretation of Colonia's original bottle.

Note di Colonia II is a strong entry with the assurance of triumph in the soul influenced by “Nessun dorma,” Turandot. Note di Colonia II is an honor to Puccini’s art and to this true masterpiece. A scent which understands the way to regulate the inner intricacies of an interlude that comes before the flight of the new day. The perfume includes leading notes of citrus starting with glowing notes of bergamot, orange and grapefruit. The olfactory tempo is increasingly endured and solid with radiant notes of basil and cardamom. Just when the chill and the peacefulness of the evenings begin to fade in the earliest warmth of the growing sun, the extremely soft and attractive shades of sandalwood appear combined with the smoky grey shades of guaiac, delivering a soothing experience of uniformity and depth to the heart of the composition. Sensations are enhanced in the velvet foundation by new undertones with the exquisite appearance of musk and vetiver.
