Bonbon Pastel comes five years after the launch of the original Bonbon fragrance, designer’s Viktor & Rolf bring out a new flanker for its famous candy-sweet fragrance. The scent, titled "Bonbon Pastel", appears as the most vivid, bright and delicate Eau de Toilette until today for the Bonbon collection.
Viktor & Rolf's haute couture creations transcend into olfactive inspirations most notable by the iconic bow. The "Bonbon" collection is evolving with a new Eau de Toilette labeled Bonbon Pastel, described as a more delicate expression of bright freshness when compared to previous editions.
Created by perfumers Cecile Matton and Serge Majoullier, the new perfume is most notable for its still deliciously gourmand character but now the signature caramel accord for the Bonbon collection is toned down into a softer more gentle whisper.
Bonbon Pastel Eau de Toilette starts with notes of bergamot essential oil, spiced cardamom, mandarin essential oil and a marine accord dubbed Aqual, followed by notes of orange blossom absolute and Neroliwood. Base notes bring a sweet, gourmand caramel accord, plus sandalwood, amber and musk.
Faithful to the iconic bow design the Bonbon Pastel bottle is polished in a graduating pink intensity, starting dark in the center and becoming transparent moving towards the edges.
