Le Gemme Amarena perfume for Women by Bvlgari

The extravagant house of Bvlgari has unveiled its Le Gemme Fragrance collection, a new range of luxury perfumes inspired by semi-precious gemstones and their trade routes from the depths of their history. Each aroma comes bottled in glass flacons that resemble ancient Roman urns that had been used to transport precious materials. The Le Gemme Perfume Collection is now the brand's first haute perfumery line.

Each of the perfumes in the Le Gemme collection is named after and inspired by a semi-precious gemstone. The six fragrances include Lilaia the peridot gemstone, Ashlemah the amethyst gemstone, Amarena the tourmaline gemstone, Noorah the turquoise stone, Maravilla the citrine gemstone, and Calaluna the moonstone. All six fragrances were developed by perfumer Daniela Roche Andrier.

The Le Gemme collection is a fragrant interpretation of the fine gemstones that inspire all Bulgari exquisite jewelry.

Bvlgari Le Gemme Amarena: Symbol of love and delight, an invitation to desire and sensuality. Tourmaline brings us South of the Equator to the colours, music, scents and lushness of Brazil. Amarena, an evocative name meaning “Morello cherry” in Italian, an exuberant, colorful, lush fragrance that captures the essence of bright, extroverted femininity. At the source of Amarena is placed the connection concerning the pinky-red of the most stunning tourmaline's and their evocation in nature of an impressive trio: violet with its flowery and fruity facets, “crystallized” sensuous tuberose, powdery and attractive centifolia rose. There is nearly a note of Morello cherry in this delicious perfume which evokes a pomegranate: a plant which has symbolized fertility and love since ancient times.

Each scent from Bvlgari's new Le Gemme fragrance collection is expected to roll out in 30ml 100ml and 350ml versions of Eau De Parfum concentration. Availability has already started in Europe and Asia with the US expected to launch in early 2015.
