Le Gemme Noorah perfume for Women by Bvlgari

The extravagant house of Bvlgari has unveiled its Le Gemme Fragrance collection, a new range of luxury perfumes inspired by semi-precious gemstones and their trade routes from the depths of their history. Each aroma comes bottled in glass flacons that resemble ancient Roman urns that had been used to transport precious materials. The Le Gemme Perfume Collection is now the brand's first haute perfumery line.

Each of the perfumes in the Le Gemme collection is named after and inspired by a semi-precious gemstone. The six fragrances include Lilaia the peridot gemstone, Ashlemah the amethyst gemstone, Amarena the tourmaline gemstone, Noorah the turquoise stone, Maravilla the citrine gemstone, and Calaluna the moonstone. All six fragrances were developed by perfumer Daniela Roche Andrier.

The Le Gemme collection is a fragrant interpretation of the fine gemstones that inspire all Bulgari exquisite jewelry.

Bvlgari Le Gemme Noorah: Redolent of the Orient, the turquoise brings us on a journey along the Silk and Spice Routes of yore. The most beautiful specimens come from the region of Nishapur, an exceedingly ancient city in Central Asia, and one of the crossroads of the mythical Silk Route. Caravans of Turkish traders brought the turquoise to Europe and that is how the gemstone came to be named. A stone of the bright blue sky, a nomad gem recalling open spaces. Noorah is an evocative name embodying the exuberance of the infinite heavens, a rich, mysterious, sensual fragrance that captures the magnificence of the Silk and Spice Routes. Noorah travels to the orient, right to the sources of Bulgari's prized pure turquoise stones. A voyage through mythic silk and spiced roads, the scent brings out wealth and stylishness with notes of narguile Vapors, candied dates, Laotian benzoin, gingerbread, honey and tobacco.

Each scent from Bvlgari's new Le Gemme fragrance collection is expected to roll out in 30ml 100ml and 350ml versions of Eau De Parfum concentration. Availability has already started in Europe and Asia with the US expected to launch in early 2015.
